As a child growing up in Jamaica I was taught that God was up in the heavens above the earth. This is where He lived and ruled all humans on the earth below. If you needed anything you had to pray or talk to him up in the heavens outside of oneself. Today I have been awakened to the realization that the Kingdom of God is within. I am free from the years of trying to find Him in the heavens away from who I am. “My Father and I are One”
